With all the unnatural toxins that we ingest simply by living in the modern world, it is no surprise that the idea of assisting the detox process of the body has become so popular.
The body does have its natural detox process, but with additives and pesticides in food, pollution in the air and artificial ingredients in cosmetics and personal care products, the natural detox processes of the body can become overloaded and toxins can begin to accumulate in the body. Detox Drops from Native Remedies purport to be a 100% natural herbal supplement that will improve the healthy functioning of the liver and increase the rate of toxin release.
Are these detox drops a way to rid the body of unwanted toxins, or are they merely a way to rid you of some of your cash?
Read our review of Detox Drops from Native Remedies and find out exactly what is in this supplement and whether those ingredients will have any real effect at all.
What are Detox Drops?
Detox Drops are a natural supplement that you take three times a day diluted with water or juice. The natural herbal ingredients in Detox Drops are designed to support the healthy functioning of the liver, which is responsible for much of the body’s natural processing of toxins.
The drops are also said to help maintain energy levels and stamina, promote healthy skin, boost the immune system. While some people refute that idea that detox supplements and detox diets do any good at all, there is medical evidence that some of the ingredients that are contained in Detox Drops, such as Dandelion, can reduce the build-up of heavy metals in the body.
It is also known that a healthy liver will be able to break down toxins better and remove them from the body faster.
You can also flush out toxins from your body by drinking plenty of water and eating a healthy diet that includes plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. Native Remedies recommend that you do this in addition to taking their drops.
What are the Benefits of Detox Drops?
The benefits of detoxing the body are said to be many. By removing potentially harmful substances from the body, you will be reducing your risk of disease.
Detoxing is also said to take a lot of the strain off your body, so all your organs will able to function more efficiently. Detoxing is said to give people more energy, more stamina, reduce food cravings, and it can also help you lose weight.
Detox Drops are also designed to improve the functioning of the digestive system, which will help you absorb nutrients from food more efficiently, as well as assist the body in processing and passing waste products faster.
Can Detox Drops Cause any Side Effects?
As is the case with most herbal supplements, very little research has been carried out into the potential side effects of taking the natural ingredients that are contained in Detox Drops in concentrated medicinal quantities.
The lack of any information about the quantities of each of each of the ingredients also makes predicting potential side effects virtually impossible. However, all of the ingredients in Detox Drops are considered to be generally safe to consume.
If the concentration of the ingredients is high enough, side effects could include digestive problems, such as nausea, indigestion, and heartburn.
There is some evidence to suggest that high doses of Pelargonium Reniformia may cause liver damage and could increase the risk of bleeding. The product is not recommended for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
There is also a potential risk of Detox Drops interacting with other medicines.

What Ingredients Are in Detox Drops?
Detox Drops is a concentrated herbal formula, the active ingredients of which are Dandelion, Fennel, and Pelargonium Reniformia. As is the case with so many health supplements, the precise quantities of each of these active ingredients are not disclosed on the manufacturer’s website.
Dandelion is known to have numerous health benefits and it contains vitamins K, A, C, and B6, as well as the minerals calcium, iron, magnesium, sodium, and potassium.
Of its many known health benefits, dandelion can improve the function of the liver and aid the digestive system which will be why it has been included in Detox Drops. Dandelion also acts a diuretic, which means that it speeds the rate at which fluids are passed through the body.
Fennel aids the digestive system, acts as a diuretic and is also a natural appetite suppressant. According to the information on the Native Remedies, fennel has a number of potential benefits for the healthy functioning of the liver, spleen, and kidney, but the claims would appear to be based only on tests carried out on animals, not on clinical tests carried out on humans.
Pelargonium Reniformia, which is a member of the geranium family, is a plant species indigenous to some areas of South Africa and it is used in herbal medicines. There is some evidence to suggest that Pelargonium Reniformia may have a beneficial effect on the digestive system, but we could find little evidence to back up the claims made by Native Remedies with respect to this particular ingredient of Detox Drops.
It is possible that taking Detox Drops could improve the functioning of the liver and assist the detox process. However, eating a healthy diet and drinking plenty of water would have the same effect.
Given the lack of clinical evidence to back up the claims for the effectiveness of detox drops and the lack of information with regards to the quantities of the ingredients contained in the supplement, it is impossible to say with any certainty that Detox Drops would provide any real benefit. In our opinion, if you want to help your body detox, you would probably be better off spending your money on the fruit and veg aisle of your local supermarket.
