1. Garcinia Cambogia Select was manufactured from natural ingredients that target fat metabolism and serotonin production.
2. The main ingredient, which makes up 50% of the supplement, consists of Garcinia Cambogia extract.
3. Now Garcinia Cambogia is a medium-sized tree that grows throughout Southeast Asia and India. It produces fruits that are rich in a chemical compound called Hydroxycritic acid, a derivative of citric acid. It is this compound that the weight loss supplement basis its health claims on.
4. Hydroxycritic acid acts as a competitive inhibitor of adenosine triphosphate citrate lyase. This enzyme plays an important role in the biosynthesis of cholesterol, fatty acids, and carbohydrate metabolism.

A study conduct in 2003 by a Japanese team lead by Kohsuke Hayamizu administered Garcinia Cambogia extract for a period of 12 weeks to participants of both sexes.

The study was a double-blind, randomized, controlled trial – meaning that half of the participants were randomly assigned to receive Garcinia Cambogia extract, while the other half received placebo.

Researchers measured visceral fat accumulation, body weight, body mass index, hip and waist circumference, and waist to hip ratio 2 weeks before starting the trial, at weeks 0 and 12 during the trial, as well as 2 weeks after the trial.

At the end of the study, researchers found that there was no significant difference in body weight and body mass index between participants.

Interestingly enough, the group that received Garcinia Cambogia extract had reduced subcutaneous and visceral fat compared to the control group that received only placebo. Other studies have demonstrated on rat models that Hydroxycitric acid in high doses does indeed prevent the accumulation of fat and overall body weight gain.

Did not do anything it said it would. Very disappointed, I did not lose any weight it didn’t boost my metabolism.

This is a big rip off deal. My wife ordered a free bottle because of the advertising. The free bottle cost about $7 or $8 shipping. She didn’t realize that she was required to keep paying and receiving the product until she canceled. When we received the 2nd bottle of pills we checked and there was a charge on our credit card for 98.73 for this second bottle. In the meantime, my wife did a bit of research on the product and found there are some risks with using it so we are not using the product. I called Garcinia Cambogia Select and they will not do anything about this. Obviously, they are just looking at making money as long as they can and don’t care about the customer

This is a total waste of money. Ordered from Amazon and was excited about these, but they didn’t do anything for me. Pls, don’t waste time or money on these pills. Nothing good about these pills. I don’t believe anyone lost weight on them.

That is astounding in itself, as I believe that a product based on placebo, entitled “Placebo for weight loss” would receive a better rating.
